I shot a video on Monday about trying to emulate a shimmer-type effect on the Quad Cortex. The Neural DSP Quad Cortex has been missing a shimmer verb since it was released. Little did I know but on Tuesday morning Neural DSP released CorOS 1.1.0 which includes a Shimmer verb. In this video, we look at the new effect and compare it. The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.

Nice - I'll pull that down as soon as I get mine. Question - do you think the feel is as good as the GT1000 or the FM3 - to me those have the best dynamic response and feel of any of the modelers I've tried.

Sounds epic! Too bad I'm not a big shimmer guy. I'm waiting for the plate reverb, which is expected to come with the next update.
