Part 3 of a larger documentary: "How Important is the Persian Gulf?".

This video attempts to explain the geopolitics of the Persian Gulf as of 2019.

The Persian Gulf is an inlet of the Indian Ocean surrounded by multiple states. Since the early twentieth century the Gulf has been a key strategic point due to the oil reserves of the surrounding states. Moreover, the region contains one of the world's most critical chokepoints in the Strait of Hormuz.

This video looks at the geopolitical situation of the area, and the standing and future of each state.
