Onn. Roku TV: How to System Software Update to Latest Version

I show you how to preform a system software update to the newest verison on the Onn. Roku TV (smart TV). Note that with the latest update you will have a Built in AirPlay setting so you can wireless screen mirror iPhones, iPads and iPod touches. Hope this helps.

Is your tv slow to respond to the remote? And sometimes mine just kicks out what’s showing to go back to the home page. It shows that it’s updated but it doesn’t act like it.

So Everytime I try to add a channel it says system needs to be updated. I updated it and it's still saying that it needs to be updated, any suggestions

Have 3 devices (all same model). Two of the three update to latest software. The third was says up to date (manually checked). I was told that Roku rolls out update to devices individually. The two devices that updated did so on July 1st. Since three months have passed, it seems to me the 3rd should update. Anyone know how long a Roku update takes to roll out to all devices?

Still didn't work after reinstalling prime video, my software was already up to date on my TCL Roku TV.

What did word is unplugging the TV for a minute and letting it restart.

After that prime worked fine.

What do I do if my roku won’t update in setup mode

I have 5 TVs using ROKU devices. Trying to use Sling TV says I need to update app but when I do I get an error message 003 and says try again later on 4 of the TVs. One updates perfectly. All mobile devices work on Sling and my Smart TV works, problem seems to be an incompatibility between latest Sling app update and a number of ROKU devices. Anyone know if there is a fix for this??? I've tried clearing the cache, restarting the devices and reloading the Sling app. So far nothing works. Any ideas???

How long does the update last? Mine has the update, says may take several minutes, but never seems to do anything.
