Thanks for the beautiful memories. Our son lived there for 3 years and we were lucky enough to spend months at a time with him. I love it.

Thank you Ross for going to Fermin. It was favourite spot of mine when I lived in Guernsey. I have a photo of Fermain as my screen saver. Beautiful place. The hill going up is quite a challenge to walk! Josephine Pike, New Zealand

Oh my gosh, I was literally blown away when you walked down, the sun rising and not a single person in sight.
Never been to Guernsey but might be coming to work the season in one of the hotels!

A pleasant way to see this stunning part of the island - the casual walk and talk is done very well- but that is normal for this channel !

Beautiful. Have they mended the collapsed wall - I couldn't quite see. Love the birds and the sound of the sea - so peaceful.

Hi Ross, Been to Fermain many times in the past, it's a beautiful area and would highly recomend it to anyone to visit. use to remember the little ferry boat that you could pick up to take you back to St. Peter Port but that must have been in the late 70's.

Beautiful, thanks Ross! Fermain was the beach where I I used to live (up the cliffs in Calais), spent my childhood and youth. The wall on the right (looking out to sea) and part of the cliffs have collapsed since then, one footpath either being gone or going another way (?). By the way Fermain was the beach that was the end of "my universe" (only with a black sky behind fog) 😉

Thank you, Ross! I love that bay and the area around - and miss it 🥺
We do hope to be able to visit again - next year...
By the way, did they repair the damaged wall now? And what about the steps near the aquarium at La Vallette???

I'm hopefuly moving to Guernsey next year. I notice they had a no dogs on the beach sign. Is that the case for most beaches?
