FIRST Garage Sale of the Season! 51 Sales & Spent $81.00! 6/01/2018

My first garage sale haul of the season! I really started with a bang! Hope you enjoy my finds!

Hello, Jen! What a haul! I loved all the stories! I used to have a lot of yard sales, but we just don't have very many in our community anymore! It is already in the high nineties here in south AL! Heat index is triple digits a lot of days! People just don't come out in those temps! I love all the buttons and a lot of them look old. The material is nice and it really took me back! Yay, garage sale season is back! Your energy astounds me. I haven't done any garage sales in a couple of years, as my muscular dystrophy has progressed. Even then, I think my record might have been 5 sales - lol. I just wear down so fast. I love buttons and am jealous of your great button haul for less than a buck. The fishies are cute, Jen. I love your recollection of the fish that swam on the bathroom wall when you were young. Thanks for sharing.

I would love going garage selling with you! That's a lot of sales! You did find great stuff. I also love your fish chalk wear wall hanging. We lived in Michigan when I was a kid and would visit my grandparents in Florida every other year. My grandma had those too! I inherited wood sea horses with shells all over them lol! Love them!

Hey Jen! I love this haul!! The fish caught my eye because my mom had the same fish with 2 others in the set in my bathroom wall when I was a child! There was another medium size fish (can't remember the color) that was with the two you have. Nifty Vintage just had the set of 3 and they sold for I think 75.00...don't quote me but it was a lot more than I ever imagined! LOL The two owls by Homco might be worth researching before you spray them. They look vintage from what I could see! ; ) Love Tator's shirt too, so cute! This was a winner haul...have a nice day! I LOL’ed at the ‘ticking hearts.’ Tick, tick, tick! 😂 The big question still remains: Did you see the umbrella lady? All of these odd people are going to go down in Pudgy Picker lore. There’s the fabric lady, the umbrella lady, and that horribly confused guy who couldn’t tell the difference between the women’s room and the men’s room. Poor thing.

I used to garage sale alot when I had my 'Antique' business. You would of left me in the dust. It was fun talking to people & finding out the story of the items. Thank you for sharing your awesome finds!

51 sales? I would have never made it....in and out of the car surely wears me out! I'd have to sleep for a week to catch up! Back in the day before suffering a broken back, I could have easily done 51 garage sales! LOL Great Finds...love that galvanized lazy

I actually had a garage sale day a few years ago where i hit about 80 sales. it was a town wide sale and i did not miss a street.lol

I have the same chalkware fish.... with the same baby… There are two big fish ...a momma and papa…

I always thought it was a married set because the baby was different...

I guess not....I guess they were sold like that! I bought it to sell
