Awesome system for under $5k:

---

Today I talk about the new Tube Integrated from BRUNOCO. This one offers up 6L6 tubes and has a truly dynamic and layered sound. This amp offers up 20 watts per channel, is class A and brings warmth, detail and a 3D layered soundstage if your speakers are up to it. This one comes from South Korea and is built to a high end level. The design is industrial and beautiful. The sound is sublime from the 6L6 tubes. Hear my thoughts as I test this amp with my speakers. I tested this amp with various speakers including those from Daniel Hertz, Closer Acoustics and Galion.

So why would one choose tubes vs solid state? For the unique old school looks and the tube sound, and yes there is a tube sound when it comes to audio. Usually tubes bring a bit more roundness, fatness and full sound but the Bronco offers up transparency and 3D layers as well.

This is one of the finest tube amps I have tested.

Enjoy!

How does it compare to the Galion TS120?

I would like to recommend to your subscribers to please listen to a 6V6 tube amplifier. They offer a very sweet midrange that is downright addictive. Dennis Hadd speaks highly of 6V6 amps running in pentode. I have a Decware 25th anniversary and a 6V6 running single ended pentode. The Decware sounds better, but it should since it costs 10x as much.

Review without comparison is not very meaningful, would not you agree?

I'm torn between getting this amp or the Galion ts120 special edition.

A 5 inch woofer with plenty of bass, on the Galion speaker.. Another benefit of a 5 inch woofer, is the smaller the woofer, the tighter the bass. Almost all the other speaker companies dont want to spend a few extra dollars for a transmission line speaker.

I'm confused by your review because you say the amplifier doesn't come with a remote but it does, yes it cost a extra $200.

I was reading this guy's background. On the look for perfect sound! Personally for myself, i have a Fisher 400 receiver, but im looking for something a little different!!

A beautiful design with rich smooth sound. However, I wish they would have put in a headphone jack as I go back and forth between speakers and headphones. I too can live without a remote. The pairing with Thomas's transmission line speaker sounds intriguing.

Do I see the Galion ST A75 solid state amp sitting on the floor, if so are you reviewing it ? Thanks.

This amp looks gorgeous. If the interior is as nice as the exterior, it’s likely a winner. Is it all point to point wiring? Does it contain any circuit boards?

I would love to get your take on matching tube preamps with solid state power amps. Shockingly few YouTube videos on the subject other than ultra high end. Pretty please!

That line magnetic amplifier that you referred to sounds so stunning it literally raised the hair on the back of my neck when I first auditioned it.

Great review. Has the Gallion & Willsenton R8 been outclassed?

Wim Hof doesn’t use a remote. Do they do a power?

I’ve had this amp in my home driving Buchardt S400mk1s in glorious fashion. It’s a great unit and the designer behind it is a super friendly and knowledgeable guy. It’s a not typically audiophile and very engaging listen. And as intended, it does justice to older recordings (think older Motown etc). Have been curious to hear it with more efficient speakers
