Hey CRD, Could you discuss how the election process works and how Putin has held his power for so long? From a quick google search, it seems that a term in Russia is 6 years, with the ability to repeat for another single term. He should have only been in power for 12 years. How has he been active for nearly 22 years? It seems he served different roles, but I am unfamiliar with the terminology used and the different roles of government in Russia.
