Do you tend to go for store brands? We do with a few exceptions. What do you have to have that is name brand?

Big fan of store brands. As the stores don't manufacture stuff themselves, they buy it from regular manufacturers

Definitely original Cheez-It brand is the best! Yum!

I have a challenge for you to take on when you come to the UK. buy a packet of McVite's Jaffa Cakes and then buy store branded versions from all the Supermarkets. you will be surprized at the price and taste differences between them all.

I'd love to try Chips Ahoy cookies, have never seen them anywhere here in the UK though.

Hi Guys the cheekiest own brand/knock off was when Asda here in UK sold a copy of Penguin and had the corporate balls to call them Puffins it went to the High Court in the end and McVities maker of Penguins won

Regular Chips Ahoy can be microwaved for just a few minutes till they are warn and they will be soft and more like homemade. The best way to eat them!

No doubt at all, name brands can absolutely matter! Never again will I buy great value aka store brand shortening for baking. Name brand all the way! But there are a lot of store brand stuff that are awesome 🤩

I have the same allergies. I take a Claritin daily and I still have issues when someone cuts their grass. I am told I am NOT allergic to grass but I am allergic to the pollens that are in the grass so they are stirred up when it gets cut. I was given the option of getting an allergy shot but at $300.00 I passed on that for now. LOL

Great video. I'm with you on chewy chips. I'd eat them in a pinch but much prefer the hard cookies. As far as Great Value vs Brand, I'll take Great Value in almost every case because they make the real thing look like a rip-off.

a good store brand is ALDI, as most of it is just repackaged top brand items at a lower price.

I don't mean to bang on about the past, , but years ago store brand used to taste real bad, , low quality, , and brands were still cheap, , a canned item might be 11p Vs 16p, , but now on the whole there's virtually no difference, , some will tell ya they're even made in the same place, , and some packets will say we never make stuff for anyone else, , and sure some items there's a uniqueness from a certain maker, , but y'know, y'know 😏
