To find three equivalent fraction for 3/6, we can multiple 3/6 by the equivalent of 1/1. For example:
3/6 x 1/1 = 3/6
since 1/1 = 1 and multiplying by 1 does not change the value.
If we multiply:
3/6 x 2/2 = 6/12
Here again, since 2/2 = 1 we aren't changing the value, just the way it is written.
Note we could also simplify 3/6 down to 1/2 which is also an equivalent fraction for 3/6.
