Millions of people are diagnosed with cancer and other diseases. Jenny had the surprise of her life when an emergency room doctor told her she had stage four cancer. A single mom, she crumbled but then somehow she found the one thing she needed to make it. Jenny now empowers others to find the same. Her organization, Along Comes Hope, delivers bears and care packages to children with cancer. TEDx is about ideas worth spreading. TEDx is a program of local events designed to bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Just like a TED event, the TEDx event is focused on bringing in live speakers to spark deep conversations and connections in a smaller group.
