The purpose of investing in meme coins isn’t to preserve your wealth like it would be investing in BTC. It’s solely to buy in and get out faster than the next person. Which feels a bit slimy to most people. Not to mention the idea that you can’t trust most of the founders behind a lot of the meme coins (anybody remember the Squid Game token??), many will get rug pulled and that’s arguably worse than the traditional fiat system in regards to wealth preservation. It’s a gamble and that’s not the intent of why crypto was created in the first place. It’s sad that so much liquidity goes to joke money grab projects instead of going to projects like BTC.

Meme coins represent culture and humor. It's like buying stamps. The difference is that these have possible large future value and are a limited store of value. Maybe they won't go 10, 000x but they may double or triple in value. Or you could lose everything.

The key is hard allocation. I allocate 5% to meme coins, longshots, ect. 75% bitcoin, and the rest to ethereum, XRP, and others. My crypto allocations.
