The Orochi v2 is the most comfortable small mouse I ever used. I like the egg shape, since my pinky rests comfortably without being pushed towards the bottom of the mouse (like the hourglas shaped Viper Mini does) and the small curvature for the thump feels great to me. I grip it with a relaxed claw, however I push the back of the mouse rather againt the joint of my thump than against my wrist, since this mouse is short. You might want to consider the forward placement of the sensor, so movements with your wrist (like flicking) might feel faster.

as someone who has used the orochi v2 and was originally a claw grip user, im looking more toward the logitech g305 just because of how tiny the orochi v2 was, for day to day use (even though im gaming most of the time) the feel of being practically forced to push the orochi v2 by your fingertips constantly whether its to look for a video on youtube or just scrolling through social media hasnt been fun, and even as a 16 year old with very small hands it just felt too short of a mouse

I bought a g305 a month ago for around 25 dollar us. Orochi v2's best current price is around 45 dollar us. After this video I was like okay maybe I should have bought the orochi but price to performans ratio is literally okay for me. I am going to mod g035 aaa lithium battery to reduce its weight around 70ish grams and thats okay for me. Great review and great video

I could buy 2 G305 for the price of one Orochi V2. Looking for a replacement for my 3 years old G305... seems like I'm buying another G305 again.

I used the Razer Death Adder forever, and it eventually caused my shoulder and wrist pain. I then started trying ergonomic mice, which the Microsoft took first place, but I then started using a Microsoft mobile mouse which was surprisingly way better for my arm ergonomics. I realized that the big mouse would consume my whole hand's joints functions, and send all the micro actions up into my wrist and shoulder as I moved the mouse around, but the tiny mouse allowed for my fingers to steer around, and gave me much more accuracy as well as joint relief. I ended up getting the Orochi v2 on a blackfriday deal just to try it out, and completely loved it as soon as I plugged it in. Perfect shape and size for a large hand to use just the finger tips and "claw" style of holding a mouse. I really enjoy it and feel like it increased my gaming performance drastically. I was called out as a "hacker" when I went 40 and 4 in Squad when someone parked a BMP I was gunning on a river side and I flicked the mouse around taking out anyone who popped their head up. Not to mention the texture on the Orochi is so nice, I constantly notice how good it feels on my hand, not slick and greasy like the microsoft mouse, and about half the weight.

I have always used palm grip, and my hand from mider finger to wrist is about 6.5'', Im tending to buy to the razer orochi v2, but I dont know if I will be able to use palm grip because of its size, should I go for the G305 instead?

Logitech buttons double click so quickly and the scroll wheel is the low quality gummy rubber type that becomes smooth and sticky with use, basically a disposable mouse. Orochi is better in build quality, but needs some love from Razer, update it like the other series, give it gen 3 optical switches, add the option of using a cable and it will be the best egg shaped mouse ever. I mean for egg lovers, they only keep giving viper mini/deathadder mini updates but nothing for Orochi. Sames goes for Logitech, none of the updated goodies for their G203/G102/G305/G Pro Hero.

Like all other Logis, G305 left click gone inconsistent after 2 years. It was my probably 10th of Logi and all have the same problem.

I never use the side buttons.
And i can still not fine a good replace mouse for my Logitech m170 model.
Small easy to use.
Only a lit slow for games .
Still use it for game .
Reason is i use finger spider movement with my mouse.
Really the mouse use finger only to move it.
In the games i play is sniper .
So small correct movement is all i need.

I had both mice, and love them both. Honestly I can't pick which one I like more.

i started with the g305. switched the the orochi for about 2ish years. and now having to switch back to the g305 due to the scroll wheel acting up on the orochi. kinda sucks, but the software for the g305 is much better than razers synapse.
