One more thing against the x-drive is that makes working on the car much more difficult compared to RWD. I used to have x-drive and now just do RWD with snow tires and do not miss x-drive one bit. However, seems like RWD only BMWs are getting harder and harder to get as most as spec'ed as x-drive.

Must be the x drive because my 335i e93 2011 came with upgraded 19 inch rims low profile and I got half even less than the wheel well thickness then you have stock amazingly it rides as smooth as silk and I don't feel the bumps even with low profile tires my previous was a m3 06 that was completely stock with 18-in rims and it rode like a truck compared to this 335i so the best thing to do to this type of vehicle is to put spacers on it leave the 19 inch rims on it and enjoy it don't mess with the suspension it rides like a Cadillac and it performs smooth I can turn on a dime I love it.

Are there only 335i in US? This is what everybody is talking about. A 330i is causing less issues. I drive a 325d. Those last for ever.
