12:14 Fun fact: The director, Takashi Yamazaki, did this scene as an homage the movie Jaws. At the Academy Awards, he ended up meeting Steven Spielberg, who he idolized as a director. Spielberg said that he really enjoyed Godzilla Minus One and saw it in theaters 3 times.

Fun Fact : @ 28:46 Tachibana did not install the ejector seat but it was already installed in the plane. There was a scene where Tachibana observed the cockpit and he saw the German words 'Schleudersitz' written on the seat and told koichi about it in the flashback.

I think you should do a ending explained for Willow Creek 2013 which is a found footage film that takes place in Willow Creek California and it is about a couple finding proof of the legendary Bigfoot

I really enjoyed seeing the human side of things too. A lot of character development and people putting their feelings aside to do the right thing. That made it a lot better for me as well.

I am so happy you decided to review this movie! I have been a Godzilla groupie ever since I was a little boy! I can remember being in grade school watching the old ones which were essentially a short Asian guy in a costume fighting other people in monsters costumes! Most of the original movies I watched at a child were all in Japanese and dubbed over by Asian people in English. So the words were never quite right and matched up with their mouths. But that’s one of the great things that made the older movies so great…. kind of!😂
Now, over 40 years of being a fan, and I hope I am able to show my son these movies one day?! Hopefully he will enjoy them as much as I did and have!?

(He probably won’t because of how much technology has progressed, and kids today want everything to be so high definition!)

I really appreciate that they still gave Godzilla the man-in-a-suit look while on land, and the cute face similar to the one from the early 70s. This movie really feels like a return to the classics.

I would absolutely love the second movie to have a Kaiju adversary, however, I wouldn't want it how its done in the US films. I would still want the main focus to the humans and both the monsters are seen as the villains. And their fights are felt more like destructive forces of nature rather than picking team Godzilla.
