First time I saw these guys was at a bar in Reno. 250 capacity maybe. Showed up early and sat down next to JR at the bar and had a talk and shared some fish n chips. Great memory.

I truly appreciate youtube. Through this app, ive been able to listen to music i always wanted to but either couldnr afford to or get around to when i was younger

After a quarter of a century, it occurs to me this is one of the greatest albums of all time.
Counting Blue Cars - the ultimate question, meaning of life, existence.
Moisture - painful struggle of being alive
Charlie Browns Parents - futility of being heard/understood
Pretty Babies - expose of our demented cultures need to sexualize children.

Hot damn, I only listed to blue cars a few times but this is some solid stuff, kinda deep too.

Haze, Explode, and Moisture are also great tracks...

Ssaw them live in '99, 2000? at the legendary Universal Amphitheater (RIP) they kicked ass. pretty sure i went on the strength of Blue Cars... I hadn't known their work as much then so the show was great. and i started picking up CD's
I only struggle with which of these albums is they all have excellent songs and yet I think this one seems to be the strongest . So many great fairly deep but not overly so tracks...😎

Why are one hit wonder bands so good? Such as Nada Surf, their albums are absolutely golden

Never heard this album until now. Frankly, most of the tracks are "meh" in my opinion, but I did enjoy the hidden track at 49:19.
