I mean I'm not biased and not a big fan of BTS but I have to say...yes his vocals are off key. But even in interviews he sings completely fine. And as a 25 year old vocal coach, his voice is just strained. It's most likely bcz of tension and anxiety. And from what I know the blame should go to his company for not training him properly. I suppose you should also check the full encore. You can clearly notice that the ear piece had technical difficulties.

NO💀 just these few clips will not judge his whole abilities and his whole 10 years career ffs.Are people too harsh? Yes from the moment this went from singing to literal death threats. This is just kinda sad but expected. Jimin has damaged his vocals after years of singing in his high voice without proper technique. To all the stans, no, it ISN'T normal to crack this much and this is def due to vocal damage. But again this was expected, jimin was only a trainee for less than a year during which he probably focused more on dancing than vocals(seeing as how he's not only an idol but also from HYBE who don't prioritise vocals as much). Jimin was put into a group so fast because he has unique vocals, but he is not trained enough to be able to use these vocals without hurting himself in the long run. He has damaged himself and i honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was permenant damage seeing as how long he's been singing like this. I hope he gets help and extra training cuz he has a nice and extremely unique tone, he deserved better.

I think Jimin has been straining his voice for years and it became damaged over time. Idk if it’s bc of his vocal technique or not but I hope hybe gives him a vocal coach to find a healthier technique because his vocals are beautiful when done right, but it’s really a hit or miss nowadays and it’s just been inconsistent each time. Perhaps a way to be stable and supported vocally . I am an ARMY of 6 years now and I think we should accept this criticism

As an ARMY i think this was mostly because it was when he had his solo debut and to me i can clearly see him feeling nervous without the members because in his performances later on his voice is back to normal (probably regained confidence) but yh i also do think he should have lessons to control his voice since he has a unique voice, he could really acheive a lot if learns to use his voice 💜

im Jimin stan and support him no matter what. but he did a bit strained but that doesnt mean he doing always bad or he's a bad vocal, this can be happened to all idols and happens alot already. he is human too and can made mistake like everyone of you. he worked so hard and have a lot of show so, if things happen like this was not enough reason to trample him. i've witness his pure and raw beautiful yet angelic voice.
