What's up Raf? Great video! I absolutely love when you make videos on that projector. I just can't believe how you would have a little section on screen that gets real bright like an explosion or fire and the rest of the screen stays pure black. I'm going to treat my room with black fabric for now until I save up 4 projector. The black fabric should help out a little. It should help with all the bouncing light in my room. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks for posting... i'm also loving this projector.. I picked mine up after you & i already have 250 hrs on it..lol.. I also don't have 3 other TVs in my basement...:o)... Now to my question, for your HDR10 (Cinema 1) you have Lamp Control set to High, while that is def going to add brightness, isn't that going to really shorten the life of the bulb? I thought the major point of the German Gamma settings was to enhance HDR10 content without having the use the High Lamp mode setting to help the bulb last longer & the projector run quieter??? According to Sony's site, they quote 6, 000 hours in Low lamp mode but i can't find any data for High lamp mode. Also, when i go to high lamp mode the projector gets a little noisy for my liking, it's directly above the main listening position... and gets somewhat noticeable during very quiet scenes.

RAF- I’ve been messing with my screen setting getting ready for GAME OF THRONES.
I’ve the picture looking amazing BUT I’ve got a hint of too much red. I can really see it when I pull up the xfinity menu (usually transparent black but now has a auburn color to it).
How can I lower the red?
Hue?
Color correction?

Help me out if you can!

Quick question - I Have so many settings under expert setting - nr, mpg nr, smooth gradation, film mode, color correction, clear white, xv color, colorspace and input lag.

How do you end up with only few?

Good idea showing settings most times when it comes to projectors it's tricky to know what settings to have depending on what you watch. I have an Epson 5030ub for now it's good but looking forward on getting the song 4k..but it's hard to spend money on one thing and bang the next thing something new is out not easy to keep up. That's why I watch your videos, to know what's out their..keep up the good work..love your room too.I live in an apartment no space, but if I had a basement I'll do the same..love entertaining my family and friends.👌✊👍

Hello Raf. When a movie is showing complete black, my Sony so shows like a really dark blue on the screen. Is that normal? I would imagine it would be complete black
