Why do you believe what you believe? For many, beliefs are inherited from our parents. So our beliefs are often the result of where we are born more than any other factor.

♦ ABOUT ME ♦
I was Catholic from birth and became a Jehovah's Witness at eight. I was baptized at the age of nine. When Armageddon didn't arrive in 1975 as we had been taught, I began examining how many other Watchtower teachings weren't true.
Since then I have expanded my search to include not only JW beliefs, but those of Christianity as well. And I also examine the Bible for those things that cannot be proven true.

♦ ABOUT THIS CHANNEL ♦
My videos are meant to provide information about the Jehovah's Witnesses, a cult operated by the Watchtower corporation.
I also try to encourage non-JWs to question the things they've been taught by their church. Truth is far more important than faith, and we should always know if what we believe is true.

♦ MY MUSIC SINGLE FROM BEFORE I WAS XJW CURIOUS!☺

♦ COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER ♦
Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “Fair Use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by the Copyright Statute that might otherwise be infringing.

♦EDITORIAL DISCLAIMER♦
My use of verses from the Bible should not be viewed as a personal testimonial of the Bible's legitimacy. Since Christians, like the Jehovah's Witnesses, believe in the inerrancy of the book I cite it as reference in pointing out inconsistencies and hypocrisies in the topics I speak about. I am just citing their source material.

I love your take on it. If we judge him, we’re no better than the organization

Well said regarding Vietnam and post traumatic stress. You showed a lot of compassion and I felt the emotion. I feel bad for Tony Morris. What he's going through is worse than waking up and we all know how hard that is. Be kind everyone!

This is one of my favorite videos reacting to TM3 leaving. Insightful but not aimless speculation. Well done!

Pete… you had me in tears..
You were very kind in speaking about Antmo… he no doubt has a hate for injustice and evil after seeing the things he saw.. no doubt paradise would sound so good.
Tony is just an old man with not long to live (like me)
but if he had been fighting evil, and at the same time, knowingly covered over the evil committed to children, individuals and families because of his words and teachings.. then I think he is guilty of committing something very bad.
I reckon he knows too much for them to throw him out..and he has a good, free $$ lifestyle..
In a year or 2 he will be forgotten and erased…
(from sight… not killed..😁)

Hi Pete. good to see you making great content, again. This video truly shows how a balanced view of the issue should be. Congratulations. It would be great to see more in the community take this stance. Thank you for this

Thanks Pete! I was thinking similarly to you.

I actually went in the Marines at 18. I also loved the uniform lol. My ex husband was in the marines. My now youngest children’s father is in the army reserve and at times does funeral honors . All this to say thank you for your compassion. Although if I find out Tony had anything to do with CSA or child abuse, my compassion goes out the window. Children are so vulnerable and I have no tolerance for that. I feel like Tony maybe got sucked in after war, thinking life in the paradise would be less painful.

Love your empathetic and wise approach to this matter. It clearly shows and is a reminder to all of us to realise that while Tony said some pretty evil things, he is just a man! Yes an imperfect man, one that like all of us can have a distorted view of just about anything. It’s as you say Pete, we reflect a better version of ourselves not by judging but by showing empathy. If we don’t what have we gained? Nothing! Besides is it not better to love and forgive? Not because it’s the Christian thing to do but because its the right thing to do and not for Tony’s benefit but for our own. Remember, do unto others……you know the rest! Peace and love to you all.😊

Never thought of it. PTSD of a veteran on Vietnam war. Don't get me wrong, I would never, ever, judge an addiction for other then it is, a disease, a severe condition. Thank you for making me see a situation from another prospective. 👍

Thanks Pete for your thoughts...the great tribulation and Armageddon that the Jehovah's Witnesses look forward to will be way more than any war that was known to man. I just think all of this evil is too much...stay well💞

You are absolutely fight. We should not judge Tony Morris. My husband Elijah was a WWII vet. He served in the military at a time when racism was very bad…even in the military. Elijah suffered from post traumatic stress all his life. I was his second wife and noticed he had a lot of bad dreams almost every night. We had a biracial marriage and there were numerous issues for us in that situation, too. I became a JW but he never did. I stopped being a JW in 2009. As he aged, he developed dementia; he passed away at 98 years of age in 2017. We miss him so much!

Announcing his departure and wishing him well in his retirement if possible would have calmed the masses without raising conspiracy theories.

I respect your thoughts on this issue. Thanks for reminding me about compassion and especially during war. I am not nor ever have been in the organisation, but I do like learning about literature, faiths and cultures. I also have a friend in the organisation so l have been looking into the watchtower etc. You seem like a very empathetic and good person all round. And a great storyteller. Thanks again 👋

Thankyou Pete, for giving your view of the war. It was enlightening to hear someone else's view. To stand in different shoes for only a moment.
