DESCRIPTION
This is currently the hottest wearable in China, and now it is available Globally. The Amazfit GTR smart watch features the classic look of a traditional watch, and is perfect for sports and business use. Its most prominent feature is ultra-long battery life, which, with up to 12 days for normal use, you could say goodbye to frequent charging. It includes 12 sports modes to keep track of your health in different status.

Inside the GTR is almost identical to the Amazfit Verge Lite in operation, except that it has a compass and an altimeter for tracking altitude gained and lost during workouts. Outside it is a much dressier watch than the Verge line with a specially fabricated case and removable TPU backed leather bands. This review covers the basic operation and specific differences with the Verge and Verge Lite.

Another great video thanks. I have a Pace for 'good' and a Bip for work and really can't fault them in terms of specs, but it's REALLY annoying that you can't have two connected to the same app at the same time.


It means when you change watch you have to remember to activate the device in the app if you want notifications.


They really should have a better way to auto switch if it can only detect one - or maybe they just don't want people to buy more than one of their devices?!

(I have found a workaround using different accounts in MiFit for the Bip and Amazfit for the Pace, but it's not ideal - and means there is no point in buying another Amazfit watch)

HI Mr.Ticks is that a different app with the GTR than the app used on the pace and Bip, I like that watch and wondering if I buy that watch will it work on the Bip app or do I have to load a new app for that watch.

Where is the Day time and battery level on the top at the workout screen like other xiaomi watches pace and verge staratos ? Looks like it is missing . If so it is so dummy cause same screen size and it is very usefull specialy day time . Can you change data fields of workouts on GTR ? Max how many field ?

Do you think you'll be doing a comparison video that shows the difference between the Bluetooth watches that are merely compatible w/ Android vs the ones that actually run Android for people who are unfamiliar w/ these indie smartwatches? there exist lots of cheaper watches that connect to Android phones but don't run Android themselves. The spec sheets don't always make this clear & many of these watches look very similar to each other.

Can you swim with the gtr leather strap without damaging it? Leather is normally not meant for water....

Gotta say, after wearing my Zeblaze Crystal 2 and Vibe 5 for the better part of the last 2 weeks I instinctively flick my wrist to make the watch screen turn on. So now that I'm actually wearing a traditional watch it feels kinda funny and strange not having to flick my wrist. Lol.
