About this video: Litematica is the 1.20.1 version of the Schematica mod. Why would you want to learn how to download and install Litematica 1.20.1? Well, with the Litematica mod, you can use schematics in Minecraft. These are files that allow you to import builds into your worlds. You can lose use Litematica to create schematics of builds in your world. This lets you copy and paste builds within your world, move builds to a new world, or even export them and share the builds with friends and other players using the schematic file.

With that being said, how can you download Litematica 1.20.1? Well, to get started, you will need to download Litematica. You can find a link in the description above that you will take you to our text tutorial for getting Litematica. On this page, click the “Download Liteamtica” button to be taken to the download page for Litematica.

Once you are there, click the Files button, find the 1.20.1 version. Click the three dots next to it, and click “Download File”. Litematica will start downloading. You may need to keep or save the file depending on your browser.

The above process needs to be repeated for the MaLiLib mod. This is required for Litematica to work as it is a library mod.

With Litematica 1.20.1 and MaLiLib downloaded, you will need to download and install Fabric. You can find our complete guide on getting the Fabric Mod Loader in the description above. That covers everything that you need to know about getting Fabric 1.20.1.

After you have Fabric downloaded and installed, we can move on to how to install Litematica 1.20.1 in Minecraft. This can be done by opening the Minecraft Launcher and clicking the Installations tab. That will take you to where you can see all of your Minecraft installations. Make sure that “Modded’ is checked in the top right.

Then, hover over the Fabric installation and click the folder that appears. This will open your .minecraft folder. You should have a mods folder in this folder. If not, create one titled simply “mods”.

Finally, drag-and-drop MaLiLib and Litematica 1.20.1 into this mods folder. It’s that easy to get the schematic mod in Minecraft installed.

All you need to do now is go back to the Minecraft Launcher and play Minecraft using the Fabric installation. When Minecraft load up, Litematica 1.20.1 will be installed!

I remember using the schematics mod a decade ago with a friend on a server. We played on a skyblock server and made a town using the mod (really thought it was a cheat at the time, lol). I would never have known it existed without him, and I really enjoyed it, but after I got a new pc I had forgotten about it somewhat. Now I can play with it again!
