I never cared much about loot in LoL (too difficult for me), but as a fellow collector in other games, Congrats! Owning nearly everything is quite a feat (especially in League).

Events used to be action packed with special one time game modes. Too bad they abandoned those. IT surely was fun to do start guardian and Odyssey events. Hell, even the project ones were appealing to play a bit as a fun game mode. I don't know why they stopped doing those.
The pass really seems like a money grab by riot, however I think completing the pass and swapping the rewards for orbs or the prestige skin is actually quite worth it. Rewards are plenty including the purple essence, masterwork chests, extra orbs and 2000 tokens (up to 2200 for the bonus tokens). You might wanna look into dat in addition to the loot video's as it might give you more value for money!

Also, why would you want 3 shards for each champion? If it's for unlocking mastery, which you don't care about, 2 is enough ;)

About the timer thingies and which are and arent available for rerolls. Those thingies really just mean that they are in the store for a limited amount of time. The only ones with the timer thingy that can not be rerolled are the newest esports skins until the next preseason after that they all get added to the loot pool.
All the others with timer should always be available for reroll (obviously granted you dont get the content creator bug Huzzy gets all the time).

Next prestige for the pass is Porcelain Lissandra btw and the champ you want more than 3 on is Jhin with 4 shards because Jhin funny number 4

Jhin, because 4 is perfect and on a qwerty keyboard jhin makes the number 4 :). And Jhin is your favourite champion based on theme

Riot should improve the events to be fair. It should feel more like there is a whole theme around it otherwise it is, as you said, just riot taking money from players that buy these bundles.
