In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be presenting on Tuberculosis. Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The bacteria usually attack the lungs, but TB bacteria can attack any part of the body such as the kidney, spine, and brain. Not everyone infected with TB bacteria becomes sick. As a result, two TB-related conditions exist: latent TB infection (LTBI) and TB disease. If not treated properly, TB disease can be fatal. On monday I was diagnosed with tuberculosis.
The symptoms I had was a persistent cough that has lasted for 4 months, tiredness, elevated and low markers in various blood tests.
I am so grateful I got a second opinion, chest scan, pet scan and bronchoscopy!
I started the RIPE treatment.
Ninja Nerd you have tought me so much on the video. I know if I sit the exam, I will get 💯 % pass mark because you explain everything in so much detailed.
