I never thought that something like YouTube could be my full time job, but in 2016 I quit my job in education to do this full time, and I haven't looked back. EVERY job has its ups and downs, but I wouldn't have it any other way! When I meet new people, they always have questions about what it's like to create content as a full time job, so let's talk about it! Ask me anything!

I am so confused with how youtube think we spend money, because we watch beauty. Like I love to see new product available, but I NEVER buy anything.... It's something Angelica Nyqvist actually got into my brain (even though I think she only said it like under 10 times, but it stuck), this isn't a quote, more of what she was trying to say "you can love and enjoy something, and even want it, without buying it. You can watch videos of those product to itch that want/love"

The only videos I struggle with is some of the indie palette releases, like the new Bella beaute bar - Vamp palette, which both trigger nostalgia, and my current love for vampires, but also the color story and quality of those shimmers are stunning.... Like if I ever were to get on a PR list (if I end up starting a channel) their PR list is one of my dreams, since I honestly can't afford it (especially since I have to pay 25% customs to our government, for anything over $30)

Your friendly neighbourhood astrophysicist here: the planets are very far away from us and have super minimal effect on us, unlike the Moon which is really close and does super cool stuff like cause tidal waves and slows down Earth's rotation :) but the effect of the planets is basically negligible :)

When my cell does a system update overnight it waits for me to touch it to finish, when that happens it is actually sort of stalled out not connected/on so alarms do not alarm.

I have been saying this for years, you don't have to understand someone who is non binary or trans or racism, or anything else, because as humans if it doesn't happen to you is really difficult to fully get the scope of things. But, you can respect it and shut your mouth, you can not insult people, and you can be there to help the people that are in need, because that is what should be in human nature and not critizice and insult about issues that do not concern you

I’ve known multiple that had it with zero symptoms. They only found out when they went to donate blood . They called them and told them they had the antibodies . Pre covid shots . They said people can have it with no symptoms.

So would it be better for creators if we made sure we had enough time to watch a video all the way through? If it’s a long video (which I love)— I sometimes have to pause and come back to it. But I want to support the creator so would it be better to watch when I know I can watch it uninterrupted?

I’ve just now started watching live chat, so before I completely forget, you may have a stronger immune system than those around you. The only time that I got Covid was when that first morphing came about (please forgive me, but I’m bone heading the exact name of it) - but everyone around me had already had it. 🤷‍♀️
