Marvel existed before the fans came along but once they were going along, the Hulk series gave way to the strongest one there is and the fans came in droves to see stories about Hulk vs Thor, Thing, and every other powered being. The gamma bomb started the fandom and still going on today wanting more and more bloodshed and destruction.
Meanwhile, the creators attempt to put out new books and if not wanted by the fans, they get cancelled....destroyed.
