Both are in their way unkillable because both are revived with magic all the time, and yet Bowser is slightly more Vulnerable to other things than Ganondorf as the only things that can hurt Ganon are holy weapons, and the weapons that actually kill him are basically made by Deities while he is invulnerable to other things, meaning he would in theory survive that stuff that Bowser survived as well

And the only reason Bowser achieved some things is because Mario and Luigi were in him and helped him from the Inside basically while Ganondorf is just fueled with a fraction of the Power of the Gods


And the Reason why Bowser is in most cases still alive is because Mario has mercy on him, even if he dies, his minions can and will revive him, and Mario doesn't mind that at all.

And Ganondorf has also a ton of determination, way more than Bowser.

Bowser gives up more easily after Mario punched him a few times in the face, then he is like:
"Screw this, see each other later" and then he leaves.

Able to lift his and peaches own castle and throw them with ease. Able to catch bombs thrown at him which are 10x bigger than him. Was literally toying with Mario before he got the star power 💀


Durability: Immortal, able to take hits from Mario and Luigi in there strongest forms at the same time. Survived being punched by Luigi and Mario in there strongest form and getting thrown onto his castle while from rly high up in the air by Luigi and Mario. And tanked getting his castle thrown onto his body and surviving. And tanked a bunch more stuff.

Ok, no introduction, let’s just cut right to the chase.

Bowser is unironically one of the most insanely overpowered characters ever, and I still don’t believe he gets enough credit for some of his wackiest feats.

Lets start with some under-utilised talking points.

Bowser at one point was able to counter his own attacks being deflected back at himself at one point
This refers to when Bowser ate the Elder Princess Shroob’s mushroom. During his time as Shrowser, Bowser legit didn’t even let a window open for the Bros to attack and had to be stopped by tricking him into deflecting his own attacks into the Elder Princess Shroob’s ghost. During this state, Bowser had unironically drawn his power from another cosmic being that was a spirit, which meant his stamina and reflexes during this time were boosted.

It should also be mentioned (as well as for the rest of this post) if Bowser were to be given all of the gear he’s had over the years including the Shroob mushroom, who’s to say he wouldn’t utilise all of them at once.

2. Bowser had multiple reality warping gears or forms that if merged together, would make him nigh unstoppable.
This is referring to four items in particular; the wonder flower, the pure hearts, the star rod and the Dreamstone.
The star rod and Dreamstone have unlimited power and could grant wishes, and considering paper Mario 64 happened in the main Mario timeline to (play superstar saga to find out), that would mean Bowser has experience in using not only one, but two wish granting items. There’s also the fact that even if the Dreamstone isn’t durable, the same can’t be said for the star rod, which he could use to fix the Dreamstone, or alternatively, inhale its fragments to become Dreamy Bowser, who is just as capable as using wish magic as Dreamstone Bowser.
As for the wonder Flower and Pure hearts, the wonder flower allowed Bowser to materialise objects and beings from his imagination much like the Dreamstone, with the added benefit of turning him into castle Bowser, who isn’t exactly the strongest foe, but is still a tank. Finally for the most crucial gear, the Pure Hearts. The pure hearts were able to thwart Dimentio after absorbing the chaos heart and Luigi, which was said to be able to destroy the multiverse, as well as all higher plains of existence (the Underwhere and Overthere), meaning Dimentio could scale from between Multiversal to Hyperversal, meaning Bowser with all the aforementioned gear as well as the pure hearts could clap him, and he’s not even a pushover, as he’s arguably the second strongest Mario villain and Nintendo villain to date.

3.Bowser’s durability feats aren’t inconsistent, it’s just a product of some design choices.

This is referring to the myth that Bowser died in NSMB DS. Bowser actually never died, as in the cutscene before he becomes giant Bowser, his skull actually nods to Bowser Junior and still has light in his eyes, meaning even after losing all his mass and being reduced to fractured bones, he still persisted. Now ignoring that, no one has even made the argument that Bowser has outright regenerated from nothing several times. Let’s take Mario Galaxy 2 and Mario party for example. Bowser has fallen in universe eating black holes and still somehow regenerated even after poofing into nothingness in black holes. Whilst in normal circumstances enemies poofng in Mario games is a stylistic choice, here he outright has regenerated from nothing with the only downside being in SMG2, he was reduced to a smaller form.

4. Bowser legit out swam a blackhole

Don’t even think I need to elaborate on this one.

5. Bowser actually has a good arsenal of weapons and gears that aren’t just his fists and shell

If we’re including all Mario media as canon, as the games shows (with the exception of the movie due to many more continuity errors than the shows comics etc), in Yoshi safari, Bowser built a full suit of armour that was able to tank several bazooka blasts and had guns attached to his hands, in the super show he became a cyborg at one point and in Skylanders, he got a suit of black armour and a large hammer.

6. Bowser has literally fought and beat his own creator
This is referring to the Mario Kun Manga (which again, aren’t confirmed to be non canon, and don’t contradict the games in most ways), he was able to beat the creator of the Mario multiverse (I say this because SPM happened in Mario Kun, meaning string theory still applies here). I’m not exactly sure if this counts for much but I thought I’d include it.

7. Bowser in his base form is able to move whole land masses like Islands (Bowser’s inside story), meaning if Bowser were to time his punches and hit as hard as he pulls, a punch from base Bowser could scale to him pulling a whole island.

If there’s anymore things I may update this, but I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Summary
Bowser is the main villain in the Mario franchise, and he is in no doubt, one of the most iconic villains as well. By normal standards, he kidnaps Peach so that he can rule over the Mushroom Kingdom legally, forcing Mario to go across the kingdom to save her.
He was an orphan of some kind, as he never knew his parents, or at the very least, he lost them at a young age. The only father figure he had was Kamek a powerful warlock that ruled over the Koopa Troop before he did. He was quite mischievous in his childhood, but he was still extremely powerful at the time, due to being one of the seven Star Children.
Now, at adulthood, he is much more mature than he was, and respects others, even Mario.
