Microsoft Flight Simulator - CITY Update 1 - HUGE 40th Anniversary News

City Update 1, is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator and introduces 5 overhauled cities in Germany. Microsoft have also announced a bunch of new details for the 40th Anniversary Edition, which details the planes, airports and other things.

I use to work in the air museum that the Hercules is currently in. They call it the Spruce Goose. Iv been in the cockpit for real. That thing is marvelous to see in person.

Just a quick update for everyone here. Microsoft stated about a month ago that there will be 2 Helicopters (Bell-407; Guimbal Cabri G2) and 2 Gliders (DG Flugzeugbau LG8-18; DG Flugzeugbau DG1001E neo)

My jaw dropped at the end of the trailer, after being struck with FS2004 nostalgia from all the other classic aircraft that came with that sim now showing up here, awed when the glider being launched with a wing runner, impressed with the helicopter animation etc. and then closing out with the H-4 Hercules "Spruce Goose".

Spruce Goose will be a bunch of fun to mess about with. Cool about the a310 just getting into airliners on MSFS myself more of a Boeing person myself but cant say no to a new plane :D

Excellent! Cologne, Dusseldorf and Dortmund. I loved visiting those places when I was a kid so I have many fond memories. Also, Gamescom is currently happening, as it does every year, in Cologne so they lined up the update and the event!

Old heli mission from FSX was the Oil Rig Transport in a 206B JetRanger where you had to save the workers from a oil rig on fire.

I had the opportunity to see the Hercules when it was still kept locally here in Southern California. That plane captured my imagination from the moment I saw it. I don't have Flight Sim, but I'd consider getting it just for a chance to fly this plane.

Please don't let gliders be the main focus of the next update. Every Ody knows is all about Helicopters. Gliders are just a plus. I know you can deliver Asobo! ❤️

If detail in this game keeps increasing at this rate, they could also make a car sim out of this with ground detail getting to a really nice level. Why not

Hello, are you using any tool to sharpen your image quality? Your MSFS looks brilliant, mine is not even close as sharp as yours... especially in the air (after reaching several 100ft) the ground becomes blurry. Thanks
