ESO Update 40 Preview: A First Look At The Endless Archive & Other New Features

The first look at the new content and features that are going to debut in Update 40 was streamed on Bethesda’s Twitch channel the other day. This stream provided players with a preview of features such as the new grand master crafting stations, the jewelry crafting rebalance changes, the new group finder tool, and the new endless PvE arena: The Endless Archive, among other things.

It all sounds great, but my favorite is the jewelry revamp, by FAR. I play lots of toons with a variety of builds, so removing jewelry grains is a huge relief. I'm very interested in the class sets, as well. Great video 😊

As someone who doesn't RP at all really, I would be super excited to see RP or ERP zergs in towns in ESO. Whatever the vibe I wish that there was something to flesh out the empty cities with at most a couple players running from one objective to another through them

craglorn has already been established within the realm space as a place for gathering with the intent of finding a group. across several mmos ive noticed that though these things are initially created when players accumulate due to certain processes i.e. farming, lfg, event, etc. they remain the case despite the changes to meta progression. i think you will see less in craglorn but i think you will still see people in craglorn as it remains in it of itself a place at which people gathered. for example when i was younger we would gather at the community center at the park for free food and sodas, it caused everyone in the area aged 5-17 to gather at the park for food. one day the community center stopped doing it due to budget cuts and some people stopped coming to the park everyday after school, but the majority of us kept showing up to the park because we hung out there anyways. i think the traders will take a hit but nothing to drastic, at least until another location proves itself to be a more interesting gathering point and trader locale

Congrates on the content influences you have with Bethesda !! I am looking forward to the updates but always appreciate the entertaining and informative vids. I'm most excited about the crafting changes. Nothing is better than a Sunday morning with coffee and going thru inventory, listings and the sticker book !!

I checked out the town decorations for witches on PTS when it was live a few weeks ago and it was a really welcome improvement. Hoping they keep that going

Gotta say, it's a great update. Super excited, particularly for the seasonal decorations. I remember years ago playing fallout and they would have decorations on specific days, it made the world feel even more real :) Great breakdown as always Arttea and super cool that they showcased screencaps from you :) Totally deserved!
