We just put down my childhood dog today. His name was timber and he was a husky golden mix. Most majestic mf to ever walk this earth I swear. He died one week before he would’ve turned 15. For the last year I’ve stepped up and started taking care of him more, letting him out even late at night so he wouldn’t pee on the floor and helping him up when his legs would start failing. In that last year I learned more about having a pet then I did in the 14 years beforehand. For these last couple weeks I’ve listening to this song non stop, it really helps me reflect on my time with him. When I got a dog I understood he would eventually die, and that’s okay. It’s all apart of the journey. I just hope that I will see you again. ❤

my first cat just went missing and this song is so meaningful to me now. he was only 3 years old and i loved him so much, just looking at pictures of him makes me cry, not knowing if he's ok or even alive, not knowing if he had a painful or slow death, not knowing if he misses his old home or not is so freaking scary and i just want him to be safe and happy. i hope that i can join him someday
