Just realised what a good thing is EU. No custom lines and the free movement is the best! 😄

I'm the same way about trips! Like I'm always hyped, but the getting there causes me so much stress/anxiety and I've just had to learn ways to keep calm.

Hey Carrie! I recently found your channels and have been binge watching all of your videos, I love them so much! Me and my fiance were watching this vlog together and he mentioned the reason you got pulled by customs could be because you were filming in the customs line. He said he's heard of a few travel vloggers where the same thing happened to them! 🙀 He said it happened to Louis when he filmed in customs and they pulled him aside and searched everything! Just thought I'd mention it! ❤️

Ok first of all, needed a brief pause to appreciate the "I need to be richer" moment - I felt this on a spiritual level. LOL A life goal of mine is to fly somewhere business class and get one of those bed things (cus I can actually sleep on planes, and pretty much anywhere...how idk, but I ain't questioning it). Anyway, loved that, thank you for the realness, can always count on you Carrie haha 😙

Second of all, this brought me right back to my study abroad flight day (the good and the bad). So many feelings, I remember feeling really excited and anxious at the same time (did some stress relief coloring books in the airport before boarding and on the plane, what a godsend can I just say). Also an amazing, kind flight attendant saved me from some serious airsickness, got me some medicine straight away. Thankfully didn't have problems with customs, although I was nervous about it. No my post-flight mishap was getting lost in Heathrow. Fun times. Ended up outside at one point, no idea how lol I will say though, watching your experience, I definitely count myself lucky and I'm really glad everything worked out okay for you guys. All part of the adventure I suppose, makes for good stories later - which appropriately enough works out well for you, in fact I'm counting it as the universe providing you some prime storytime content to share with us. I know that must have been so frustrating and overwhelming but I do look forward to hearing about it and laughing at the crazyness with you 🤪😆

Anyway, I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that but I know it was probably absolutely worth it. So excited to see the rest of the videos and live a little vicariously (I miss London SO fricking much it's a little painful aahh). So happy for you Carrie that you got to do this! I'm probably gonna say that a lot if I comment in the future but it's true. From one London lover to another who never thought they'd ever go, I'm happy for you and proud you toughed out the anxiety. Hugs 🥰❤️

You are just so real, it’s amazing. I have fought anxiety and panic attracts most of my adult life, I’m 29 :/ The past year has been rough, like can’t leave my house, my “safe place”. It sucks so bad.
You are so brave to endure that 11 hour flight. Love your videos as always.

You are me on a plane! I spend a lot of time NOT sleeping & watching other people sleep. Yes, London customs is the WORST! That line takes forever. When I went to Italy last summer, I purposely drove hours out of my way for a direct flight rather than going through London.

Omg! Feel so bad for you and Alexa. My 3 fav YouTube girls all together. So excited to watch all of your video. I started by coming across Jasmin because my daughter watched her and she led me to you and you led me to Alexa. Love all the of you. Such great personalities and such great videos. I hope you all have so much fun!!! Slightly jealous. My 2 daughters and I have always wanted to visit England. Will love living vicariously through your videos to come! Wishing you all good times and safe travels home.

OMG I was SO scared they were going to do this to me in US customs when I went to the US! (I'm from germany)
Luckily they didn't really do anything and didn't even want to check my bag but I was soooo scared the entire time! going back to europe I wasn't scared at all but damn that was stressful! And you always hear those horror stories about people getting interviewed by the US government for hours and then having to go back etc! Especially because I was there on a student visa i thought they were going to ask tons of questions! And then there's the fact that english obviously isn't my first language and I only learnt it in school! i would say I'm fluent and i watch movies/shows and read books and everything completely in english without struggling but since I've always lived in germany i never got much practice actually talking! And even though I have a C2 level in English which is considered mother tongue (I didn't know my level then, though) I wasn't sure if I'd be able to handle a foreign language in a stressful situation! Well I was lucky and none of those made-up scenarios happened haha! Sorry for the monologue in case anyone read all the way through ✌🏼💓

Also edit to make this even longer: I struggled so hard with jet lag coming back from california after 3 months with 9 hours time difference! It was so freaking hard i was up all night every night but then so tired during the day! I'm also a night owl anyway so it took me about 2 months to break the habit completely and get my sleeping schedule back on track! Going from here to cali i had no problems whatsoever it took me maybe 2 days of falling asleep at 8 or 9 and waking up at around 6 which was like an hour earlier than i had to anyway so it was totally fine and that was even gone after 2 days! Too much of a night owl an definitely not boring person haha!
