A Day In The Life As A Lawn Care Owner! [New Commercial Client!]

Today, we're taking you guys with us as we mow a large portion of our Wednesday residential route and share a new commercial account we just picked up with you. The guys did a fantastic job making the new HOA account look its best, leading to another happy and satisfied customer.

We had to leave a few on the books for the next day, where the guys had about 28 left to do. They should wrap up the week without problems and continue laying beautiful stripes for our fabulous customers.

Question for Brian and anyone else: what do y'all do in dusty blowing situations around vehicles?

Personally, I'd go the extra mile and blow the cars off when you're done. Especially if the wind completely covers the vehicle. I was just discussing this with another person about leaf dust. I never had to blow off house windows yet. But one day that could happen too. Look up and see dust just blah 😂.

Hey Brian, can you or your subscribers give me some suggestions.

I'm cutting 3 residential lawns ( personal.. not as a business) mine, my 83 yr old neighbor and mother in law.

Total for all 3 is 1 acre. I have a Ferris FW 15 and I looking for something bigger to speed these up.

I demoed a exmark Radius ( 900 hrs..loaner for 1 day) and unfortunately didn't have a great experience it.


The drive controls were very aggersive to me. Didn't take much to upset the direction and difficulty with slower movements in tight places.

My other issus was my somewhat steep hill. Fine going up. Didn't feel in control down and uneasy feeling when turning on the hill..felt like itvwas going to turn over, although it was not even close.

Amazing cut quality from that mower.


The dealer has recommended the Toro proline or a stand on ? Not many stand on in my 7K budget.
