Quick How To | Fire Roll | Rudiger Roll #shorts

This is a quick how to do a fire roll or Rudiger roll. This technique can be tricky, as materials, pressure, and number of rolls can all make a difference. I use about 3/4 of a cotton ball once it is unrolled. I add about 1/2 teaspoon of wood ash. I will roll it about 25 to 30 times with heavy pressure (The term heavy can have different meanings to different people). If I do not see smoke I immediately roll it some more. This is a technique that requires trial and error when learning, and lots of practice until it becomes instinctive. #fire #survival #camping #outdoors #bushcraft
