For 2015, the Dodge Challenger receives the most significant makeover since its reintroduction in 2008. Exterior styling updates are inspired by the 1971 Challenger, and the interior sees dramatic improvements and added features. The big news, however, is the debut of the SRT Hellcat model that takes the crown as the most powerful production muscle car. Ever.

4400lbs is still way to heavy, hence it crosses the 1/4 mile at 125 mph, Mustang GT500 crosses at 128mph, BMW M6 comp pack with only 575hp crosses at 128 as well.

I saw one of these in person the green one it had michingan plates here in cali it was racing a zl1 in irwindale dragrace track. The car sucks no traction at all and with traction it bogged. Yes it eas only the 1/8 miles but still only went 65mph no traction no high speed traps. Sounded badass and dis mean ass burout but thats about it

The only down side is there is no difference on the look of the Hellcat to another challengers from far away

This guy didn't use the different suspension modes.  Talk is cheap. I want to see confirmed numbers proof with professional competent drivers.  I'm glad Dodge has a no markup policy in full effect. Dealers could loose there franchise license if they markup the Hellcat's purchase price.  ;o)

so for a NON loaded hell cat its 60K so for the performance pack, interior pack, graphics pack, and exhaust options.... youre looking at 80K....

OR you could get a Z/28 for similar price and carve up a back road, or track, and its not so massive. 

OR you could get a GT500 with similar options for 68K (fully loaded) and it will offer better handling not to mention cheaper.

Dude the GT500 weighs 3800lbs vs 4400lbs for the hellcat lol.. He is just being realistic, there is no way a 4400lbs car its gonna beat a lighter car around a track lol
