Issue is there's no ststistical proof of any retail trader averaging even a 100% a year.

It's true that it is possible but still doesnt change the fact that it's unrealistic because if we account for drawdowns with such a high annual return, it wont be a shock to learn that the trader blew the account.

The key to success in trading is capital preservation and that will always demand low risk parameters.

What people don't understand is that their are pros and cons to being a whale. Sometimes you don't want to be a whale..lol

What's the point of being a whale when you can barely move because of liquidity. You want to be smart about it.

You don't want to be big big cuz that just causes problems, but you don't want to be a small fish either. You need to learn how to flow with the market enough not to drown, but to keep swimming a healthy swim.

Striking that balance..
Is the hardest thing once you understand that lesson.
