I am not really too fussed about dying from it because I'll be dead but I think the more serious problem is people getting covid and becoming permanently disabled. It would lead to poorer quality of life and a big drag on both the healthcare system and the economy. That's what really worries me the most, I have worked in environments where people get maimed and it's just awful.
