He was a class act. I saw her once at Foxwood without Regis. Frank was with her. I they sang Time After Time (lucky to be loving you) together. It was great. They were a great couple.

What a life.  This man hasn't played pro football since 1964 and only played pro 12 years(he had to retire from injuries).  He really knew how to capitalize the rest of his life on those 12 years.  His work ethic must have been way above average.

Gifford looked pretty good at 78. I still have a little hard time believing he would die just 6 years after that. I'm torn if it was football related or not. Technically, with him filling in as co-host, it would be his 3rd network that he has worked for (NBC). Remember, he started his broadcasting career at CBS in the 60's.
