College Football 25 Update Fixes BIGGEST ISSUE With Dynasty Mode

I started my junior season at Northwestern as the number 1 ranked team in the country after winning the natty. Went on to go undefeated in the regular season. But throughout the regular season i dropped down to the 6th ranked team. 3 of the teams i had beaten in the year ended up being ranked higher than i was with the top ranked team having 4 losses.

Had the same issue with rankings. Was 10-0, the #1 team in the country for 2 straight weeks, and then after beating the #23 team in the country on the road, I got dropped to #4 for no reason. The records of the 3 ahead of me? 10-1, 10-1 (who I beat)……and 8-3 (who I also beat). Makes zero sense.
There’s also a massive issue with recruiting, where the game will just randomly decide that you can’t invite certain recruits to visits, even after they’ve chosen their top 5 schools. This, of course, causes them to lose interest and not commit

Yea super sim is crazy like I would be build up 90 overall team across the board and I’m still losing to 2-6 teams in super sim

They definitely need to fix Top 25 rankings. I was QB for the gators and we were 9-0 with wins over Georgia and Texas and we’re still not ranked.

i ran the trial, played as a halfback for jmu, i was an 89, i was getting 6 carries a game, and a redshirt sophomore was getting 25 as a 76. i was actually pissed. i turned off fatigue to make sure this stuff wouldn’t happen, my gpa, leadership, and whatever else was always up. and i had about 30k coach trust by the end of my sophomore season. also i beat 2 top 10 schools and was getting ranked about 20th even though i had only lost 1 game to the team that ended up 14th

For real, I was 9-0 and I wasn't even in the top 25 after beating Georgia and Michigan the same year.

Yeah I was in the middle of a dynasty game and I had seen that FCS Midwest had beaten #4 Penn State 39-38 and was really confused lol

Worth a read: my friends and I have a dynasty with 10 of us in it (10 real games 2 ai on the schedule), and we are 12 weeks in, 2 guys are last in the conference at 7-5 but are both in the top 5 and im 10-2 winning the conference and im at 15th. I 100% agree the rank system is screwed

How can we not edit non-nil players in Dynasty. That's crazy.

They need to overhaul how the defense works in this game. It's all offense and big plays. Even if you call the right defensive plays, your player will play the wrong zone or will pursue a runner in the worst way possible when a tackle was easily there. It's frustrating as hell watching it go down.

Your right about the rankings I beat 2 teams in the top 10 and I was undefeated at5-0 and wasn’t ranked and the 2of the top three had 2 losses

I was doing a Nebraska dynasty and playing through, I was 10-2 and made the cfb, then I looked to the other side of the bracket and was amazed to see 7-5 kenessaw state in the natty chip 😂

That last bit is probably the most realistic part about Dynasty mode, we saw it with JMU last season. The CFB rankings are always going to bias towards the bigger schools, shit Alabama could lose 4 games and still be ranked Top 25 while a school like Kennesaw State being undefeated is just scraping into the Top 25 maybe not even.

they also gotta fix the issue with sometimes when the ball is snapped, it teleports way behind you

I feel has made it worse in some areas as well. My team is now 89 overall, after one season with +42 pts a game. After the update I seem to be scoring much less & lower ranked teams are running through my O-line like a knife through butter, creating consistent pressure every play. Same O-line as before. Also, seems like the same gimmick as Madden when the opposing team is on third down & somehow find a miraculous play to get first down. Their conversion rate is crazy while mine is nowhere near.

Thank god I found this video and the comments. Was absolutely livid when I decided to sim a game. Got torched by fcs northwest 35-7 at home. Was like WTF!!!
