I have a thick lawn with a combination tall fescue, creeping red and "other" rye grasses. I have been using the mower for about 3 weeks now. The lawn looks fantastic. I even had a guy stop and ask me how I got the lawn looking like that and he is going to buy the Fiskars mower! My neighbor says it reminds him of the grounds crew cutting the infield at Wrigley field in the 70's with reel mowers. I wish I could post a picture. Thanks for your video!

I find operating our self-propelled petrol-powered lawn mower exhausting. I'd rather have something I can push myself at my own pace. And the fact that I don't pollute my own garden is a huge attraction to me. I'm buying this one. Thanks for demo

we live in a condo now and i sure do miss cutting my own grass, had an ancient version of this from an old neighbor but can't remember the brand and i loved using it, such a good cut. thanks for sharing, if/when we get a yard again I'm getting another one, cheers

Thanks for this. So many reviews of this mower show it working on lawns that are mostly weeds or barely have any grass. I've been looking for a video that actually shows it on a proper lawn. I don't see any lines left from the wheels which I run into with my current reel mower. This model claims to eliminate that and your video finally seems to confirm that. Thanks again and happy mowing!

If you're looking to buy one, try searching on places like CL, Nextdoor or FB Marketplace first. A lot of people buy them, don't use them correctly, and then decide to sell because they feel they don't work. I've been wanting one for a long time and found one for $40. There was nothing wrong with it, but the previous owner was letting his grass grow too high, which affected performance. Of course, a new one for $150–200 is still worth it, in my opinion.

♥️Great vid! Fiskars has great reviews all sites. Is assembly easy? Ability to fit into a Taurus? Fold down completely to save storage space? 90 yr dad has GAS mower (ugh!) + small lawn. Thinking of getting this for us kids to use4 him

I have Fescue grass just installed, I killed my other lawn because I cut it too short They recommend 3 to 4 inch cut on Fescue. No other reel mower has that height adjustment. I will go out and buy one in the next few weeks.
