My Hawks could have been the greatest franchise in NBA history. If Billy Russell and Bob Pettit had teamed up, we probably would’ve had those 11. Then the Hawks become a big name in stead of the Celtics, and we attract a lot of interest. However, then they probably never move to Atlanta and they’re not my favorite team anyway. Hypotheticals are weird man.

Something to mention is that Bob Cousy was also drafted by the Hawks but was traded as he refused to train for them. Which means that if they played their cards right, the Hawks would've had Pettit, Cousy and Bill Russell. On the same team.
