I use to run a beer route that took me over to Hollis. The folks at the Waterin’ Hole and other stores use to tell me about a famous cowboy cook that lives out there. I’ve since moved, but I finally found him! Thanks for all the great content Mr. Rollins.

I'm 64 years young and can agree cast iron can last many lifetimes. I have inherited some of my grandmother's and great-grandmother's iron cookware.Still works like a champ.

Great tips. I’ve been cooking in cast iron every sense I was big enough to stand on a chair and help grandma Dolly with breakfast or supper. Now that was over 65 years ago and I’m still using some of her cast iron. My grand kids have already started claiming which piece they want for themselves. It last forever. Stay safe my friend. Keep the fire hot and the coffee pot full. God Bless you all

My 12" Lodge is the workhorse in the kitchen! I also have a 10" and a 6" - all are at least 30 years old and all have their own recipes!! The baby is great for a lil cornbread for just me, an old widow woman. The big daddy is perfect for steak & gravy when the kids around! Lovecmy cast iron!!!

I got into cast iron after watching a Kent Rollins video on you tube. Now, not only do I cook with cast iron, I also collect and restore vintage cast iron, every time I get enough money to buy a Finex, or a Stargazer skillet, I keep finding deals I can't refuse on several vintage pieces ( Griswold, Wagner, Birmingham stove and range, etc. ). I know someday I'll get a Stargazer or a Finex, I'm just havin a lot of fun getting there. Thank you Kent Rollins for awakening me to cast iron, and all the great recipes!

I would really appreciate if at the end of your videos, after when you're finished cooking on Cast Iron Skillet, that you could show us how you clean it or take care of it.

Trying to convert my friends to cast iron. Since lockdown began last year I’ve been between three addresses- my mothers (following divorce), holiday park caravan site - I work in a nursing home and needed to shield away from my mother- and now FINALLY a home of my own after so very very long. My own boat!!! But with all this moving about I’ve not had room nor transportation space for lots of stuff including cooking equipment. After watching one of these videos last year I purchased a lodge large skillet and not looked back! Use it for pretty much everything and like that it’s something I can pass onto my child one day. Bless you for your videos and content! Sunny smiles from England!

My wife and I have started converting most all of our cookware to cast iron, based partly on your videos.

There are so many dishes that get turned into a one pot meal now. Not only have they turned out better, they save time and effort with not having to clean extra pots and pans.

If anyone is hesitant about making the switch, start small. Go get you an inexpensive lodge and watch their videos on how to make that thing even better.

Mr. Kent, heartfelt THANKS for the "how to" videos on cast iron care. Shamed to say for the last 20+ years, I've been doing it all wrong😐. I bought some 80 grit sandpaper, avocado oil, and I've now got my 20 year old cast iron on the right path. Thank you again!!

I am going to be 62 in 2 months. The first thing my mother taught me to make was a pineapple upside down cake, in her cast iron. My cast iron is as old as I am. And to this day the most requested cake I get is still my pineapple updide down. Baked in the same cast iron my mother taught me in!
