Why is this so true? They say you shouldn't listen to songs with lyrics when studying cuz ur only gonna remember the lyrics but if u listen to music without words I can remember what you studied. All I remember is dancing.

Little did she know, songs without words made me hyperfocus on the beats and instruments while songs with words (especially familiar ones) let me basically tune them out and helped me focus
