North Miami Beach Police chief abruptly retires, mayor says he's being 'micromagaged'

North Miami Beach Police Chief Richard Rand turned in his retirement papers, effective in December. But many in the community don't want to see him go and are urging the city to support him.

Many people are leaving their jobs because of micromanagement and disrespect, In the millions. That includes myself. Others and I understand exactly where the Chief is coming from. Retirement is wonderful. 😄
