I can't say exactly where we met but I can say I'll never forget his leadership. His Marines were always happy, healthy, and looked like they had the sickest job in the corps. Being in I-lvl Avionics, I got to meet up with him a few times and (attempt) to ask about his ops. I could tell CENTCOM or someone affiliated was obsessed with him cause the same Admirals & SgtMaj's who did our annual inspections were always trailing him for some reason. He wasn't a big dude, never yelled, but earned respect by simply treating his NCO's with respect and dignity. I can say that for very few officers and SNCO's in the corps so it was a big deal. If I could share something personal, back when I was a lance, we in the lcpl underground called him King Solomon and someone made a meme in MS Paint which had him wearing a crown xD He seemed like a great person both in and out of uniform.
Had no idea this is what he accomplished but I'm proud to have served with him. Hope many of us can try to emulate his legendary service and protect the vulnerable from dark forces. Semper Fidelis, OORAH

Don't you want to hear the moment he walked in and saw this being... and the first
" conversation" they had how they began to trust one another, what kind of shape this being was in and what he ate.
