well, to be quite honest, these cards aren't even THAT old. IOC came out in 2005, 3 whole years after yugioh came to be in the USA. what I consider old cards are LOB thru LOD. like Dark Magician, the toon monsters, gate guardian....stuff like that :)

There have been many changes throughout yugioh's history. In the early years of the game, if you had a stronger monster than your opponent, you would win. Then different strategies were created and people ran different types of decks. Fusion summoning became popular during the GX era. Then synchros were introduced and now we are getting Xyz monsters which will definetly affect the game in new ways. I can't wait to try out the xyz monsters.
