London is a world travel hub and when covid hit over 1 million people were out of the UK needing to come home. Huge demand pushes up prices. Basic economics. Electricity cost is so high because Conservative PM Thatcher sold off the grid and share holders get a lot of money. Sitting with 2 jumpers on in winter. Just keeping one room warm. Now migrants need homes and hotels closed for legitimate travellers. Even so I love my country and if you come avoid staying in London and small hotels that are not maintained well. Just think that hotels are for sleeping in and go out and enjoy walking to all there is. I personally prefer grey days because I do not like wearing sunglasses 😂

Don’t even get me started on Dubai that Many influencers even you don’t even know the Downside of Dubai, Like one simple rain storm can flood Dubai, the islands are sinking, Most of there’s skyscrapers in Dubai DON’T even have proper sewage system so they have to bring hundreds if not thousands of semi poop trucks coming, shitty urban design like highways in the middle of a city, mostly car centric city, not to mention the suburbs are as car centric Horrible as US Sun belts car centric suburbia! Also treat workers humiliation with little paying job!
