The guy says he never feels only Irish or only German anyway. Also the introduction on his official website: "I suppose the German side wants to keep everything in control, and the Irish side wants to wreak havoc"." So it's clear that the guy'd like to identify himself with both (or European)
He loves arts like an Irish, follows serious work ethics like a German, and his performances sometimes feel German sometimes feel Irish, so imo we can credit both cultures with creating this product^_^
