THANK YOU! This is exactly the help I needed. Your example enabled me to figure it out, even on my MacBook. I will share how I adjusted the settings on my Mac:
On a Mac, I found this using “Snap Mode” at the bottom. (Snap Mode looks like 3 horizontal rows of 3 dots each and is next to the grid display icon on my computer) Right-click on that icon and choose “settings”. In this new window, chose the “Object Snap” tab and then check “midpoint”
