So what are some annoying things in World of Warcraft that you personally don't like? Things that Blizzard themselves could fix, if they wanted to. Thoughts?

"Night Elf males still look too angry when fishing, they need to calm down" was funny

"Most Annoying Thing in WoW"
You buy the game, you pay a sub, and somehow theres still an irl cashshop with gold having an exchange rate.

How in the world did we go from a single store mount to this.

I hate that we don't have more/updated race starting zones and quests. I loved them and it was one of the most enjoyable forms of dive into the WoWs lore by learning about your race's beliefs etc

Nixxiom somehow unintentionally started the list with the sponsor, before the video even started, lol.

I'm gonna say the fact that, when you're playing the main story, it's single player all the way through the levelling experience with the occasional tangent for a dungeon, you get to cap, you're getting ready for the big climactic moment and... Ope! Looks like you need to do a raid with 9-24 other people in a culture that is infamously toxic, without any option to do a single player version (or even a version for a small dungeon-sized group), if you want to see this major story beat. Sure you CAN go on youtube and watch the cutscene there, but by that logic, you may as well drop the sub, quit playing, and just watch someone else play the entire story!
Just... please Blizzard, either give us a one-time per character single player option or just divorce the main story from the raids like almost any other story-heavy mmo does! In LOTRO, even when you have a fellowship quest in the main story, you get a buff if you're solo to make up the difference, and you never see a raid size quest in the Epic. In SWTOR, none of the main story requires a group, providing story-modes when there are flashpoints, which is basically giving a dungeon a single-player mode, and again raids are tangential to the main story. Even ESO, which is the only other mmo I've played where raids are occasionally intertwined with the story, it's never a major necessary beat for plot progression.

Here's what I find annoying in WoW: Add-ons are supposed to be free according to Blizzard's ToS, yet, some people in the community make SUB BASED add-ons and are then marketed by Youtubers. Truly scummy.

Yo, so after 4 years of playing nothing but classic, I went back to the retail game. Holy. Shit. Starting from exile's reach, yeah, the environment and graphics were pretty. But dear lord. It was "Hold-My-Hand" WoW. Chest? THEY'RE RIGHT HERE ON YOUR MAP!! Abilities? TADA! You gain a level and boom! No more going to a Class Trainer. Oh you just reached level 10? Here's your first mount! You don't have to save Gold or anything or wait til level 40. Meanwhile, my poor SoD main is traveling by foot cuz she can't afford a mount. And mobs are so easy to crash through. I was originally going to start my character in Tirisfal Glades to see what changed. Guess what? Nothing! It's still the same zone from Cataclysm. You'd think with the Desolate Council introduced to the Forsaken after Sylvanas went off the deep end, there'd be a major update to the old world. But. No.
Anyway, I'm starting to sound like an old grumpy lady going "back in my day". Those are my complaints about the current game. It is not the same game I fell in love with.

Lol srsly .. give up with this leveling is too fast and this and that. .. its not 2004 anymore and not everyone is sitting in front of PC 24/7 so they can level their 60 for tons of hours ... Dont play it if you dont like it ... or just play Classic and be stuck there 4ever . Not everyone is fan of nostalgia and wants to kill same bosses again and again . Retail is not perfect but for me to play it few times a week with my friend .Its enough

Leveling in retail sucks, no matter what timeline you choose. It’s a race to get to 70 as fast as possible. Level scaling is really awkward in terms of mobs and dungeon loot.

I'm gonna say it: soulbound items suck and "soulbound" should have never been a thing, in classic, in retail, in WoW period. Why is it that every piece of gear that's worth anyone's time has some kind of magical "soulbinding" enchantment, are you really telling me that every piece of enchanted equipment was also enchanted to have a weapon ID that refuses to be held if it's not by the person who initially held it?
It's stupid for lore reasons, (sorry Garrosh, you can't wield gorehowl, it's soulbound to Grom, sorry Merry, the Barrow Blade can't be held in your hands, better leave it there) moreover it makes the game worse to play, players can't hand down their gear to lower level players, gear can't be sold on the auction house, you can't mail it to your alts, BUT ONLY if it's been equipped once. As a roleplayer the idea of getting this sword handed down from me by a great warrior in my guild who has defeated many enemies with it: that's really cool, but instead we just have a limited system and limited in-game economy for seemingly no actual reason.
Soulbound items are stupid and never should have existed as a concept.

Why is Menethil harbor still flooded after all these years? The residents just stand in the water. How hard would it be to repair to keep the water out or just move somewhere else?

Sad part for me as a role player I can’t find any role player guilds that are active on a role play server and if there are they are full or they don’t want someone like me who has interllectal disability. I have to role play one discord or Animo now.

Annoying Things 21#: The last piece of a transmog set that you have been trying to farm out with your brother, but the still running joke is "See ya next week.".

Been trying to get 1 more piece to a set that my brother wants, but even after a year we have still not gotten it. At least the joke of "See ya next week." has become a thing due to it though. So it is not all bad.

6:29 cause it Dranai starter zone AND OUTLANDS are on the same server, With you back to the Outlands portal face north on the map and Quel & Drana zone are NE past the death wall, You could see it with commands we HAD access too in classics UI. ALL 3 locations are in the same world space.

I know people wanna shit on RPers. We know about the way people look at us. After so many years I could care less about peoples opinions. We do a lot for people outside the community that people don't even see but hey. Thats on them. We RPers will have fun either way.

Blizzard has.. somewhat.. in there own small ways made it better for our community. Such as no sharding and a lot of the toys are pretty cool to use as tools to enhance the immersion of it all. Before you judge RPers. I suggest you take a look at Tournament of Ages. Nixxiom has a video on it and its done very well. Educate yourselves before judging yeah?

Making two lil additions here:

1. Faction power balance - are we just gonna forget that if another BFA happened, Horde would lose HARD because of the Alliance overwhelming advantages from the Lightforged to the improved gnomish tech to absolutely dominating the void with the Velves? Currently the Horde's greatest strength is.. well their physical strength, but their tech, while effective, is lacking, we have peaceful, nomadic factions like the Vulpera who didn't showcase their strength, they showcased taking the time to notice the peons, that the Council very well could have done if there wasn't a thousand fires going on.

2. Horde needs an update, they are no longer in the same position they were 20+ (irl and in game) years ago and with the introduction to the Mag'har, we need the Iron Horde style of tech to come back, let them expand fully into Azshara, we have the Zandalari who could provide the same role as the Gronn in their armies. The Horde are being left behind to keep them in the same position they were in, a group of scattered and displaced tribes that needed to come together to survive, and they have been.. for twenty years and thriving enough to always be able to fuel war efforts which are always huge economical races with their enemies.
