I'm working on a different beast animatic right now!!! I didn't let myself watch any suffering animatics before finishing this and now I'm so excited to go watch all of them

Love how she does hop up there with him like "I mean I guess if that's what it takes to get this guy in the water??" Shooting her with an arrow never made much sense to me. I mean, she's in the water... How's he get her on the boat then? Love this!

That sequence where she shifts appearance as she gets more cruel and less loving while they are discussing Scylla, and then the rapid transition back to the lure with “Now jump in the water!” was absolutely 👩🏽‍🍳🤌🏽💋😘

Love How invested Sirenelope/Penelosiren is in explaining how to get home, I love Penelope (Not in that way Odysseus put the sword down) and I love how Ody's Ahoge isn't connected to his hair.

I love how Penelope is colored like she's glowing slightly from within, and her design is so ethereal and detailed that it's easy to miss her teeth and nails sharpening. The expressions in this are so snarky and subtle!

I _adore_ the way you animated her answering Odysseus’ question. Like she kind of got caught up in figuring it out, getting to flex her knowledge of the seas, and almost forgot what she was doing for a few moments. Then both snapping back into character with “Now get in the water!”

Penelope looked so ethereal, especially in the beginning! It was almost as if she wasn’t truly there, but rather superimposed on the background, not to mention a she seemed brighter than everything else, as if shading didn’t apply to her. It’s extremely fitting, given the context! Amazing!

I love how jagged ody is here. Compared to sirenelope. One is too focused on hiding behind a soft illusion and the other is not hiding anything at all.

I love how Penelope has claws, sharph teeths and sometimes the disguise slips. That's such a cool little detail!

Odyessus is incredibly clever asking the siren for sea faring advice considering She is still very busy trying to keep up the illusion

God Odysseus’ expressions are one of my favorite bits, too—the way his eyes almost NEVER match his smile, you can tell he’s just WAITING for his chance to strike. The way for a split second after being told about Scylla, when she splashes him, the facade nearly breaks—he’s as hungry for what’s about to happen as she is.

WHY DOESNT THIS HAVE MORE VIEWS OMG??? this is so detailed and well shaded and i feel very emersed in the scenary because of it?! and your ody looks so smug and confident in himself—and then i'm assuming from the desc you didn't get much inspo from other animatics which kind of leaves me in awe because i can't imagine popping out an animatic without some kind of inspo if it were me 😭 but you had an idea and it was perfectly executed AND THE WAY ODY HOLDS THE SIREN SO SINCERELY AT THE END AND WHEN HE GOT ANNOYED AT THE "now jump in the water!!!!" UGH this has got to be one of my favs i've ever watched hats off to you this is just *chefs kiss*
