I have lived in London for 27 years and the winters are not that cold and you can get across the city pretty fast if you know the right way to go. Rent is high and homelessness is bad but only in the downtown area.

If you think London is cold in the winter you need to spend a winter in Winnipeg 🥶🥶

Coming from Montreal and Ottawa in 93, London used to be a beautiful sun belt small city with a big heart. Jobs were plentiful, rent and home ownership was affordable. In the last 10 years things have gotten messed up. It’s across the country and arguably all of North America. Drugs, crime, inflation, manufacturing shutdowns have increased to saturation. I guess London was sheltered from it for decades but it’s here now and we all have to work our way through it. I still wouldn’t live anywhere else because London is eclectic, its growing, it’s an hour from the best beach sunsets in the world, a couple of hours from Niagara Falls and it’s still a short drive to country farms that set a kinder tone to a harsh moment in time. Thanks for the video spotlights though. These are well done videos

Back in 90s, the downtown area of London, Ont was very lively. Big businesses were everywhere. Sadly, it’s not the same as it was. But I still love London.

Just avoid downtown, ppl usually prefer northern area. Oh 1 bed 1 bath usually costs $2k per month, by the way.

Lived in London Ontario my whole life. You got me triggered with that long ass train lol.. I've been late because of it many times. The transit system sucks too and is never on time. This video is pretty bang on.

If you were here in London, Ontario, one year ago, you would have known about the construction of the new underpass on Adelaide Street at the CPKC Railway which has been open for a few months.

I would say the people of London Ontario are the main reason not to move there. Not friendly, not like Montreal, even the the people of Toronto are friendlier although there is a high crime rate. Secondly job opportunities, not a lot. And lastly there is virtually nothing to do in London, unless you like to sit in a bar all day or walk around in a mall (they only have two malls.

Overall its much better than the "Centre of the Universe". However, we've lived here 37 years and as the city population grows, the police response times and other city services are inconsistent. Meanwhile as our property taxes escalate, we pay more for less!

I moved out of London due to an employment opportunity, and in the intervening years, I have been so disappointed with the way the city I once called home has developed. I would never, ever move back.

unfortunately, I live in london. I was born and raised here, and as a blind person, I feel this city's very unfriendly. ok, we have the CNIB, like alot of canada, but I just feel that it is. you can agree, or disagree, as you're entitled to your opinion just like I'm entitled to mine. I'm saying that to the many people who might comment differently. but, I won't get started on why I've grown to hate it here, as the list is too long.

As a person that lives in london ontario, I would just say stay on the west side of london, east side or downtown just filled with weuird homeless and gay people, west side is more new and clean compared to east or central.

if you don't want cold and snow, move to Niagara or Windsor. Still lousy infrastructure though.
