These daring, strong, undemanding and very intelligent animals have few equal predators in the wild. People have always had ambivalent feelings for the wolves. On the one hand - it’s fear and hatred, on the other - respect and admiration. What kind of animals are they really, and what’s their life like?

Fun fact: [ Not so fun because its a bit sad:( ] There is a species of wolves called Red Wolves, there is less than 20 in the wild as far as I know. They live in eastern North Carolina and can only be found there, luckily, there is 200+ Red wolves in captivity being taken care of. Some of them will get released back into the wild, while some will stay. They look much like coyotes, which is the main cause of their endangered cause. Red Wolves aren't much know about-- So im here to tell you about them! Thank you for reading this, your awesome! Have a good day everyone!

I love wolves. I think they are so majestic. They live in packs that are their family and work together.

There are about 1, 000 wolves currently in France, 2, 000 in Spain, 300 in Switzerland, 300 in Italy, 24 in Belgium, 29 in Denmark, 1, 300 in Germany, 20 in Holland, 480 between Norway and Sweden, 50 in Austria. If you include Eastern Europe there are about 17, 000 wolves in the whole of Europe.

I think it's a cultural thing. In most cultures, wolves are very respected. The Norseman held them in high respect, as they are Odin's creation. Some native American tribes see them as brothers, and even in Christianity it is the symbol for Archangel Michael. Wolves and humans are linked, it is a shame we list our way.... while they still walk the path. I love wolves as well.

Original Americans don't hate wolves, they have great respect for the wolves. People who arrive in North America from other countries started the war against these magnificent animals. So unfortunate

A little misinformation there with the pack eating order I would like to clear that up.

The pack leader doesnt always eat first. The hungriest wolf eats first, the least hungry wolf eats last

Wolves have been seen again in Denmark but their presence is controversial. They are protected, yet have been exposed to poaching by people who don’t believe they have a right to be here. Poachers caught killing wolves are persecuted by the law.

I love that you had a video of a alaskan wolf at 1:28 and said Alpha wolf... those are matriarchal wolves. A mother and her young...

Yikes. The fact that people still misunderstand wild wolf packs is disturbing.

There are wild wolves in Denmark! They have been away for about 200 years, but have now immigrated into Denmark from Germany. There are also wolves in Switzerland.
Fraqnce also has a population that was established in the 1990'ies when they moved through the Alpes from Italy to France.
In the Britsh Isles the wolf was exterminated by through the activity of the people, while in Japan they have not seen wolves for 100 000 years, i.e. long before the homo sapiens reached what we to day call Japan

Wolves in a pack love each other and work together. They know how to love but they kill only to survive.
